Chalet Can Tudó
About the project
Chalet Can Tudó, located in a privileged setting in Mallorca, is an outstanding example of modern and sustainable architecture. This high-end residence was designed by architects Paula Caballero García and Diego Colón de Carvajal Salís, from the Caballerocolon studio. The construction was carried out by Rosique Construcciones y Obras Civiles S.L. and Construcción Bajo Control Baleares H&L, S.L., for the developer PROMOTORAS EUROPEAS CONSOLIDADAS S.L. The result is a bright home, fully integrated into its surroundings and designed with a clear respect for the environment.
Glasswork at Chalet Can Tudó
At Cristalleria Vidres Arxiduc, we had the privilege of carrying out all the glasswork for the property. This included both the supply and the installation. For this project, we used the innovative Climalit Oraé glass, a range of double-glazing units with recycled glass content developed by Saint-Gobain Glass and supplied by Cerviglas.
This solution combines Planistar One Oraé recycled glass on the exterior with Stadip Oraé laminated safety glass on the interior. As a result, it provides a clean, contemporary aesthetic while significantly improving thermal and acoustic comfort. At the same time, this choice reinforces the sustainable and forward-thinking character of the project.
All glass elements were carefully selected and precisely manufactured. This ensures seamless integration with the architectural design, maximizes natural light, and frames the views of the Mallorcan landscape.
Coordination and project quality
Close coordination with the architectural studio, the construction companies, and our suppliers was essential throughout the entire process. Thanks to this collaborative approach, every detail meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability. For this reason, Chalet Can Tudó not only stands out for its design, but also represents a benchmark in the use of recycled materials in high-end residential construction. This is a commitment we fully share at Cristalleria Vidres Arxiduc.
